dharma
— at the intersection of drama+ dharma —
make your sensitivity your superpower and do the work you dream of
applying the teachings of mindfulness meditation to help deep, sensitive performing artists overcome the on- and offstage challenges we face
wait a second.
What’s “dharma” anyway?
While mindfulness is a secular practice, the teachings come from the Buddhist tradition. Dharma is a Sanskrit word, one of those un-translatable terms, like hors d’oeuvres. It means the way things are, the basic principles of existence, and our behavior or conduct that is in harmony with these principles (or not - which would be adharma).

** NOW TEACHING AT TIBET HOUSE US **
Monday 12:15pm - Lunchtime Meditation @ Tibet House US (hybrid in-person & online - register here)
As performers,
our greatest gift to give an audience is our Selves. We are each a unique portal, with our personal life experiences and perspectives that no one else has.
But so many of us…
Grapple with performance anxiety or stage fright
Feel something gets in the way, interrupts the process, holds us back
Struggle with imposter syndrome and the inner critic
Feel tense, locked up, locked out of our own hearts
Just know we have something deeper to express.
I get it. I’ve been there.
there is a way through.
I’m a highly sensitive artist myself.
In my 20-year career as an actor and singer, I’ve had panic attacks onstage and trembled my way through auditions.
I’ve also surprised myself moment by moment and given performances I couldn’t possibly have planned - in the best way.
And I know there is a way to access what you already have inside you:
freedom
ease
confidence
consistency
and JOY in sharing your gifts with the world, as you were meant to do.
