Katie was seen most recently in Amas Musical Theatre’s workshop of Marry Harry, and in Kingdom Come, which was named Best Play of the 2012 Downtown Urban Theatre Festival in New York City.
She was nominated for a 2011 BroadwayWorld Florida Award (Best Actress in a Musical) for her performance in Grey Gardens at freeFall Theatre. She has performed throughout New York City in numerous concerts, workshops and readings, as well as regionally at the Delaware Theatre Company, the John W. Engeman Theater on Long Island, Chenango River Theatre, and a summer season at Shakespeare & Company.
She was the Founding President of Choral Chameleon, a professional chamber choir dedicated to breaking down musical barriers by transitioning seamlessly between styles and genres within concert sets and seasons. As a choral singer she has performed in New York, across the United States and throughout Europe. She is on the Volunteer Artist Roster of Sing For Hope.
Katie holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University, where she was the recipient of the Edward Greer Award for Classic Acting for her performance as Olivia in Twelfth Night. She studies voice in New York City with Ruth Williams Hennessy and coaches with VP Boyle, and has also trained classically at Shakespeare & Co. and at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London, England. She is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.
